Big Rain Storm Debbi! Going to a Cottage in Labelle, Quebec
Big rain storm residue from The Hurricane Debbi washing streets and making landslides in the town of Labelle, QC on Friday August 9, 2024 where I was going with friends to a cottage the following two day where better. I had to have my older brother to pick me up in his pick up truck for safety purposes to be able to make it in one piece from Orleans, Ontario to Labelle, Quebec. Look at the footage I got from my Camera going down with my two awesome brothers driving to are location and aftermath of the destruction all the way to the temporary repair for us to be able to leave on Sunday! After passing through adversity!
At 6:37PM coming back to get are friends Car A.K.A. (the weekend Host) His Car took a bit too much water that clog the engine making it unable to start. Luckily he was able to make it pass that stretch before car stop. Looking at the damage and the power of water. Friday.
Scouting the area to see all the damage on Saturday at 10:00 PM is was just the flooded stretch we drove on the evening before.
Some locals told us to go check further abut 4 minute power waking away to see the bigger street collapse overnight because of the big rainfall.

This corresponds to a category 1 hurricane.On August 9, 2024 at 8:00 p.m., Debby hit land near the town of Farnham (Quebec) in Canada. There, the hurricane had a wind speed of 56 km/h and a diameter of 945 kilometers.
